More than 80 players enjoy football in Amman with The Brigde SC and the VCF Academy coaches
The alliance between Valencia CF and The Bridge SC, which began a year ago, continues to take firm steps to consolidate the presence of the Mestalla Club in this Middle Eastern country where soccer is attracting more and more interest.
Proof of this has been the great success of participation and media coverage of the technical visit made by technicians of the Valencia CF Academy to check in situ the evolution of about 80 players between 10 and 19 years old who train in Amman, in the Jordanian capital, in The Bridge SC project.
GROWTH IN THE MIDDLE EAST
"Our main objective in Jordan is to help The Bridge SC to develop their academy and create a close relationship to collaborate in the methodological development of the players" says Vicente Roch, technical coordinator of the VCF Academy Programs, who visited Amman a few weeks ago to explain to coaches and players some keys of the methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in the training of players to compete at the elite level, according to the report of the CIES Football Observatory.
"The Club also aims to increase its presence in the Middle East. We know that LaLiga is widely followed in Jordan and we want to increase our presence here and our followers" explains Roch who together with the VCF Academy Programs department have also developed projects in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in the last year.
a tight relationship
Last season the VCF Academy became a Technical Partner of The Bridge SC, a high performance academy founded in 2021 in Amman, whose main objective is to develop local players who can make the leap to professional soccer or who can access scholarships to combine their studies with their soccer career in other countries.
"We started our Academy The Bridge SC in 2021 with the clear idea of being a high level Academy. Since then we have been selecting players with higher level who have come to our tryouts and we have U19, U16, U14, U12 and U10 teams all focused on a future in soccer" explains Ivan Beroiz co-founder of The Bridge SC.
IMPACT AND GROWTH
This second edition of the II VCF Camp Jordan exceeded in participants the first edition in 2023 and had a wide coverage in the local media that picked up the presence of Valencia CF in Jordan and even television stations such as Roya TV and Mamlakah TV were able to see in situ the evolution of VCF Camp Jordan in a workshop organized in collaboration with LaLiga.
"The main objective of this workshop was to raise awareness of this beautiful project that Valencia CF and The Bridge SC are carrying out and to see how happy the children who are part of the project are" said Martin Dueñas, LaLiga's delegate in UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan.
In addition to the Valencia CF Campus in Jordan, the players of The Bridge SC will participate this season in the VCF Academy World Cup and the VCF Elite Camp as well as they will carry out a VCF Training Experience at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna.
vcf academy programs
The international alliances, technical consultancy, VCF Soccer Camps and VCF Soccer Academy that the VCF Academy has in strategic markets in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia are part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs that help to expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colors symbolize worldwide. This Internationalization Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2023.
En 2023 participaron más de 5000 jugadores y 400 técnicos de más de 50 países de todo el mundo en los distintos VCF Academy Programs para conocer mejor la metodología de juego de la Academia VCF.
